In short
New products arrive in Exact Online all year round, but the catalogue lagged behind. Someone worked out by hand what was new, put it in a spreadsheet and passed it to the designer.
Revenue questions across thousands of customers were hard to answer in Excel.
Changes to items in Exact Online land automatically in a spreadsheet on SharePoint, with a list of what is new and what should leave the catalogue.
You ask for a catalogue change on Telegram, for example: put item X on page 29. A Mac makes the change on a copy of the InDesign file, in Dutch and French.
You get a picture of the page before and after. Only after your approval is the original changed, with a backup.
Revenue per customer over several years, with risers and fallers, requested in plain language and sent back as a spreadsheet.
Exact Online is only read. The original InDesign file never changes without approval on Telegram.
